You might know that our membership platform allows members to upload photos to their profiles. Adding a photo to your profile is something that really helps our front desk team verify it’s actually you checking in. To help us out, please follow these easy steps to upload your photos
Please go to our website at https://dominionhills.org/ and log in with your account credentials.
Your username will be your membership number. If you need, you can reset your password using the link on the login panel. If you have any questions or issues, please let us know.
Click on the three vertical buttons on each of your family members and select “Add Photo”.
You can then add or replace each family member’s profile photo by clicking the “edit” button, which has a pencil on it.
Just click “Submit” when you’re done and voila, you’re done!! Repeat this for each family member and please, keep them current. You know how fast those kids grow up!!

Upcoming early closures

It’s the middle of Summer, the DH Thunder Ducks swim & dive teams have wrapped up their seasons and many of us will be heading out on vacation. Some to the beach, some to the mountains, and some to our in-laws. So far, we’ve had some great events for little ones, big ones, and adults and, we’re excited that we have more to come.Sunday, July 24 we had our first ever Champagne Adult Brunch & Swim at the pool. We got great feedback, enjoyed a morning cocktail, meeting new folks, and taking a dip in the pool. Definitely a win and something the board will be hosting again.
This Wednesday, July 26, is staff night at the pool, a way to say Thank You to the young team members, many of whom are heading back to college in the coming weeks. If you see a staff member, thank them!!

The Dominion Hills swim team beat Canterbury Woods in a tight contest last Saturday. That victory means the Thunder Ducks were undefeated this year and won their division for the first time in many years. Congratulations to the swimmers, coaches, team reps, photographers/videographers, marshals, starters, judges, announcers, runners, timers, and everyone else that have made this such a great season! Go Thunder Ducks!

Kids Night Rescheduled to Sunday, June 25
Hello members!
Kids Night has been rescheduled to this Sunday, from 7PM to 9PM.
All DH kids 6-12 years of age who have passed the swim test are welcome. $5 per child member.
Preordered wrist bands can be picked up at the front desk on Sunday after 12PM until the event. You can also purchase wrist bands at the Quack Shack.
If you were registered for Wednesday’s Kids Night and are unable to attend this Sunday, you will receive credit toward the next Kids Night on July 19th.

You can also purchase an admittance wristband at the Quack Shack any time between now and the event. If your child has not yet passed the swim test, arrange a time to take it with one of our pool managers
The online sign-up will be available until 12pm the day of the event. If you prepay for kids night there will be an admittance wristband available for you or them to pick up from the front desk between 12:30pm and 7:00pm the day of the event.

If you heard about the Kentucky Derby lawn party, that was just one of several NEW events this year to enjoy, and you’ll hear about them in our weekly newsletters.

DH 2023 Events Calendar
This week’s events
The Wine Down: Our second NEW event this year is the Wine Down on the Hill, the first of which will be this Friday, June 9 from 5-8pm. It’s an appetizer potluck, end of the week, adult wind down. We’ll be sitting on the hill by the East end of the pool, sipping and enjoying the weather. Click below for the sign-up so we know how many will be joining us and who is bringing appetizers to share.

Early Open on June 7 & 14: With the school year coming to a close, elementary schools have an early release on Wednesday, June 7, and Wednesday, June 14. We will be opening the pool at 1:30pm on both June 7th and 14th.
Thunder Duck swimming: Saturday, June 10 at 7am, the DH Thunder Ducks swim team will hold time trials at the pool. This is where our swimmers set their own bar for the season, giving each athlete their times to beat.
NOTE: The pool will open after time trials at 12:30 pm, so make sure to plan accordingly!
June Board Meeting: Your illustrious Board Of Directors will be meeting at 7:30pm on Thursday, June 8 for the usual; motioning, seconding, and working through the details of keeping the pool smoothly running for all of us. If you see a board member, thank them!

Upcoming Events:
Thunder Ducks Swim Meets: On June 12 there is the first A-Meet of the season. It’s an away meet with the Thunder Ducks swimming at Forest Hills. On June 7, the first Thunder Ducks B-Meet will be hosted by our neighbors at Arlington Forest. GOOD LUCK DUCKS!
Movie Night: On June 16 the first Movie Night of the season will show Disney’s Jungle Cruise, with the film starting at 8pm.
DH Summer Hours: Starting on June 19, July’s summer hours will be in effect at DH. This means early bird swimming will move to 5:30am – 7am. The pool will be open on weekdays from 10:30am – 9pm, Saturdays from 10am – 9pm and on Sundays after Adult Brunch, 11am – 8pm.
