2022 DH Swim Lessons

We’re excited to announce the return of the DHARA Swim Lesson Program in 2022. This program has been custom designed to increase your child’s enjoyment, safety, and confidence in the water.  As described below, our program caters to a variety of beginner skill levels.  Each Session includes eight 30-minute classes occurring Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday over a two-week period for $130 for members and $150 for non-members.  Enrollment is limited.

All registration is on a first come first served basis and DHARA members will have priority placement. DHARA waitlist families and non-members are welcome to participate in the lessons only, other pool use and activities are not included with the classes.

Registration closes one week prior to the date of the first class, but registration for a class may close early when the maximum number of students is reached. On the registration form you must rank the lesson time(s) you are available to make. Every effort will be made to place your child into a time slot that you preferred. In the event no lessons are available within your desired time frame, you will receive a full refund or you may register for another Session. A few days before the start of the class, you will receive a confirmation email with your time and class level.

Classes are offered for a variety of skill levels – Minnow, Guppy, Goldfish, and Tuna. Before registering, please review the descriptions below and choose the level of instruction that best suits your child’s needs and abilities. Then, choose the session and three times that are the most appropriate and convenient for you and your child. If you have any questions about which skill level to select, please contact Krisztina Kovacs at dhswimlessons@gmail.com and request an evaluation.  If needed, an evaluation should be completed before registering for a class. Please register each child separately

INCLEMENT WEATHER: Due to inclement weather your lesson may be canceled. Cancellation may be declared any time prior to, or during your lesson. The best way to obtain cancellation information is to contact the pool or one of our managers. We will attempt to make up classes by adding 5-10 minutes at the end of each lesson, or will reschedule the lesson for a Friday or Saturday. Make up classes will be communicated via email.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL REGARDING NON-MEMBER POOL USAGE AND SWIM LESSONS: Other than the student in the assigned lesson, ALL non-members or those who are not paid guests of a DHARA member, are NOT permitted to use the pool at any time. Anyone who fails to comply with the DHARA pool rules or otherwise misuses the pool will be asked to leave the premises and may be prohibited further in the swim lesson program. All swim lesson fees are non-refundable.
