The 2023 season has started with some beautiful weather and tremendous fun at the pool! Let’s keep the good times rolling!

This week’s events

Thunder Duck Swimming: After a close victory (Congrats Thunder Ducks!!) at Rolling Hills Swim Club this Saturday, DH will host both a B-meet and an A-meet this week.

Monday, 19 June, 6 PM – B Meet @ DHARA vs SHRA – Pool closes for the meet at 4 PM.
Saturday, 24 June, 9 AM – A Meet @ DHARA vs SHBR – Pool opens following the meet at noon.
Morning practices start this week. See emails from Team Representatives for further information.
If you have not seen it, please watch a tremendous swim team video created by Thuy Dinh. Thunder Duck Time Trials! It is super cool and motivational. Keep it up Thuy!

Thunder Duck Dive, Tuesday, 20 June, 5-9 PM: The DH Dive Team will have its first A Meet this year @ Fairfax Station. Good luck Thunder Ducks!! May your dives be epic and your splashes be microscopic!

Kids Night, Wednesday, 21 June,7-9 PM:If you would like to pay in advance, see Kids Night Sign Up – Dominion Hills Pool. And make sure to pass the swim test before Wednesday!

Tiny Tot Picnic, Thursday, 22 June, 11:30 AM: Sounds like fun for Thunder Ducklings!!

Swim Team Social, Friday, 23 June, 5:30-7PM: Get pumped to face SHBR at home on Saturday!

Adult Brunch, Sunday, 24 June, 9-11AM: Are you an adult? Do you like brunch and a calm, peaceful swimming experience? This is for you!

Cornhole Tourney, Sunday, 24 June, 3-5 PM: Bring out your custom-made corn hole bags and your red solo cups and have a great time!

Upcoming Events:
Summer Luau, July 15 – Mark your calendars for the second annual DH Adult Dinner, Summer Luau Edition! Last year was an epic party of fun, music, laughter, home-made margaritas, limbo, and a really long conga line. Let’s make it even bigger this year! Look out for registration in early July!

DHARA Rental Property
As some of you may know, DHARA owns the property next to the pool parking lot. Our current tenant will be moving out next week, so that property is in need of a tenant. If you have any friends that may be interested in a smaller house (with a smaller rent) and a huge yard, please have them send inquiries to DHARARental@gmail.com.

Reminders:
Please add family headshots to your Dominion Hills online account at DominionHills.org. It is very helpful for the young pool staff at the front door to be able to confirm the identity of pool members when checking in. The process is incredibly easy: 1) log in to the website and go to your account page, 2) next to the names of each family member will be three dots arranged vertically, 3) click the three dots and select add photo 4) pick a photo on your computer, zoom in, and click submit. Done!

Make sure to check the DH Events calendar or the full online calendar for early close or late opening due to Thunder Duck swim and dive events.

(This week the pool closes Monday at 4PM and Wednesday at 7PM. On Saturday the pool opens at noon)
Saturdays: 10:00am – 9:00 pm
Sunday Adult Brunch: 9:00am -11:00 am
Sunday Pool Hours: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
