Calendar Correction

We had incorrect dates listed for the start of our summer hours. The website now has the correct information, as well as the printable (PDF ) version of the calendar. Our apologies!

Clean Up Day Thanks!

Thanks SO MUCH to everyone who came out on Saturday May,11 to help clean, weed, mulch and plant around the pool and community house!! As an added bonus, folks got a preview of the new bathrooms (which are stellar!).

There is always more to do, so if you’d like to help out, please reach out the the board and I’ll be in touch!

Cheers!

Message from the President

I am very excited to welcome you to the 64th year of fun, sun, and relaxation at the Dominion Hills Area Recreation Association. We are planning to open on Saturday, May 18, at 10 a.m., and are working hard on all the preparations.

The new email newsletter [sent April 26] includes information about our summer calendar of events, the Goodlett Scholarship application, swim and dive team information, and more. Please stay tuned for more updates as our season approaches. We are using the e-newsletter instead of mailing a paper version to be more efficient, save association funds, and improve our communications.

This year, you will see the results of the renovations to our community house and bathhouse. I am grateful for our Board of Directors, our manager, our membership recorder, and volunteers who have worked diligently behind the scenes to make this season special. We all hope you will be pleased with the hard work over the last year and will enjoy the improvements for years to come.

President, Dominion Hills Area Recreation Association

Swim & Dive Team Registration Now Open

DHARA is an active member of the Northern Virginia Swimming League. The teams provide kids up to age 18 with a great experience that includes: skill development; friendly spirited competition; new friendships; and a sense of team and community spirit. We encourage children to join either or both teams!

Attend and learn more at the parent meetings on Saturday May 11 at the pool (9am for swim; 10am for dive). You can also register now on the Dive Team and Swim Team websites.

Reminder: During meets hosted at Dominion Hills, the pool will close for general swimming on parts of some days and evenings. We encourage DHARA members to attend the meets and cheer on our swim and dive team kids!

Your $200 capital assessment was due by Oct. 31, 2018. Earlier this year, the membership voted to move forward on capital improvement projects to improve the accessibility, safety, and aesthetics of our community house and bathhouse. The projects will be partially funded by this assessment.

Two payment options

OPTION 1: Visit the  Payments page, then log in to make your payment online via credit/debit card (small processing fee applies). Note: If you’ve forgotten your username or password (or don’t know what it is), enter an email address associated with your DHARA account. The address must already be in the system. If a matching account is found, a reset link will be mailed to the address you enter.

OR
